Where Legal Precision Meets Purpose-Driven Support

Kiser’s Legal Support Solutions (SKLSS) isn’t just a company — it’s a movement built on trust, transformation, and time-honored service.

Proudly family-owned and operated, SKLSS began in 2004 as a mobile notary business founded by Shaylah Kiser, a visionary committed to accuracy, integrity, and people-first service. From day one, her goal was clear: to serve with excellence while creating lasting impact in the legal field and the lives it touches.

By 2012, we expanded into court reporting, quickly becoming known for our professionalism, dependability, and adaptability. As legal technology advanced, we rose to meet it — offering certified digital reporters, transcription, and virtual hearing support that meets today’s demands.

In 2024, SKLSS evolved into a full-scale legal support solution, adding non-legal mediation to our services, guided by Shaylah’s experience as an ordained minister. We now provide a rare blend of high-level legal expertise and compassionate support — all while staying true to our roots as a close-knit, values-driven, family-run business.

Our Mission

To set the gold standard in legal support by delivering fast, accurate, and tech-powered services — while remaining deeply rooted in integrity, empathy, and excellence.

At SKLSS, we bridge the gap between legal precision and human connection. Our mission is to empower legal professionals, uplift underserved voices, and modernize the way justice is supported — with every transcript, every case, and every conversation.

Our Vision

At SKLSS, we believe legal support should feel personal — rooted in trust, integrity, and the kind of care you’d expect from a family-run business. Our vision is to blend modern technology with faith-driven compassion and time-tested professionalism, creating a legal support experience that’s both dependable and deeply human.

We imagine a justice system where every voice is valued, every record is respected, and every client — no matter how big or small — receives the support they deserve. Reliable legal services shouldn’t be a privilege; they should be accessible, honest, and built on real relationships.

We’re not just documenting history.

We’re serving our community.

One case at a time. One client at a time. One family at a time.

And we’re honored to be part of your story.

CEO | Certified Electronic Reporter (CER) | Certified Digital Reporter (CDR)

I’m Shaylah Kiser—founder and CEO of Shaylah Burrill and Associates, LLC and Kiser’s Legal Support Solutions (SKLSS). With more than a decade of experience in court reporting, transcription, and legal support services, I deliver clarity, accuracy, and professionalism in proceedings where the integrity of the record is essential.

My career began in 2004 with a mobile notary service and has grown into a comprehensive legal support operation serving attorneys, law firms, government agencies, and individuals navigating the legal system. Over the years, I’ve supported complex litigation, depositions, hearings, and time-sensitive matters—working behind the scenes to ensure every word is captured accurately and every record is handled with care.

I was also briefly a law student, an experience that deepened my understanding of legal procedure, terminology, and the demands placed on legal professionals. I made a deliberate decision to pause formal legal studies to focus on homeschooling my young children—an investment in education that reflects both my values and my belief in lifelong learning. I plan to return to legal studies in the future, because growth, discipline, and continued education are foundational to how I work and lead.

Beyond service delivery, I develop practical legal terminology dictionaries and desk-reference guides used by court reporters, legal professionals, and self-represented litigants. These resources are designed to support clarity, consistency, and confidence—because understanding the language of the law is critical to navigating it effectively.

I am also an ordained minister and offer faith-based facilitative mediation for clients who specifically seek values-aligned conflict resolution. These services focus on respectful communication, understanding, and structured dialogue and are offered separately from court reporting and administrative legal support. Participation is always optional and client-directed, ensuring neutrality and professionalism across all services.

Whether working with seasoned legal professionals or individuals representing themselves, my approach remains the same: provide dependable, precise, and respectful support so clients can move forward with confidence. The record is never treated as routine—it is treated as critical.

Mission Statement

My mission is to deliver high-integrity court reporting, legal support, and facilitative mediation services grounded in accuracy, accountability, and respect for every voice on the record. I believe fairness begins with an accurate record, that clarity empowers informed decisions, and that principled professionalism builds trust in the legal process. Every proceeding is handled with purpose, care, and an unwavering commitment to doing the work the right way.
